Description

What does it really take to navigate daily life while living in poverty? Through the Cost of Poverty Experience (C.O.P.E.), you’ll gain a deeper understanding of the realities faced by individuals and families in our community. This immersive simulation will challenge you to make difficult decisions, navigate everyday barriers, and experience how limited resources can impact housing and transportation to employment and family stability. By participating, you’ll walk away with a better understanding of the complex challenges facing members of our community that can help how you lead, serve, and engage with others. Leadership Palm Beach County, in partnership with Pathways to Prosperity, invites you to step into the experience and see poverty through a different lens.

9:00am - 9:30am: Check-in, 9:30am - 9:45am: Participant Orientation, 9:45am - 12:00pm: Simulation & Group Discussion
