In response to the challenge to have ample poll workers to ensure the integrity of the elections process, The Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections Office has created the “Adopt-A-Precinct Program.” This initiative encourages non-profit organizations to participate as Poll Workers for the Primary Election on November 3rd. Through the Adopt-a-Precinct Program, volunteers serve as poll workers during Election Day and donate their poll worker earnings back to Leadership Palm Beach County. Requirements to Serve as a Poll Worker To participate, volunteers must: • Be a registered voter in Palm Beach County • Complete mandatory online training • Complete mandatory in-person training specific to the assigned position • Be available to work the full required shift for their selected position Why Participate? By joining our Adopt-a-Precinct Team, you will: ✅ Support free and fair elections in Palm Beach County ✅ Serve your community in a meaningful and impactful way ✅ Network and volunteer alongside fellow Leadership PBC members and alumni ✅ Help raise funds that strengthen Leadership PBC programs and initiatives If you are interested in joining our team, please review the available poll worker positions and register by September 24. The mandatory training sessions for Poll Workers is already underway through Supervisor of Elections Office and all new and returning members will need to complete training by October 23. Positions Needed • Clerk – 1 position (must be available for the full day) • Assistant Clerk – 1 position • Inspectors – 3 or more positions • Voter System Technician – 1 position (must be available for the full day) • Quality Assurance Inspector – 1 or more positions • Deputy – 1 or more positions Election Dates - August 18 - November 3 Shift Options - Morning: 5:30 AM – 1:00 PM - Afternoon/Evening: 12:30 PM – 8:00 PM (includes set-up and tear-down) Important: Clerk and Voter Systems Technician roles must work the full day (no split shifts) Training Requirements - In-Person Training: 1–2 hours, Weekend options available Positions Needed We are recruiting for all roles: - Clerk (1 needed) - Assistant Clerk (2 needed) - Deputy (1 needed) - Voter Systems Technician (1 needed) - Quality Assurance Forms Inspectors (2 needed) - Inspectors (2 needed)
